Step by Step on How to use Onigiri Wrappers
Traditionally, the rice triangles were wrapped directly onto the nori seaweed. Unfortunately, over time, the nori would become moist and the seaweed would lose its crunch.
A plastic packaging was developed and this helped keep the nori seaweed crunchy until it was eaten. This genius invention keeps the rice from coming into contact with the nori until it’s removed, resulting in delectably fresh and crisp nori.
Onigiri wrappers are extremely easy to use and this intelligent wrapping has made onigiris one of the most popular convenient and tasty meals on the go! Here are the simple instructions to make these Japanese rice balls at home! The nori seaweed stays crunchy until you eat them!
